Summit

The Built by Nature Summit is a unique annual gathering designed to bring together the key actors in the timber and biobased materials movement.

The leading global summit for the transformation of the built environment through responsible timber construction.

Full Programme

15 October – Biobased City Tour (invite only)
A day designed for invited frontrunners and collaborators to connect in a more intimate setting. It will include curated site visits to some of London’s most inspiring timber and hybrid buildings, followed by an evening of networking drinks.

16 October – Conference
The main event brings together changemakers, innovators, and leaders to explore the future of responsible building. The conference programme is shaped by the Principles for Responsible Timber Construction, featuring high-level discussions, inspiring case studies, and actionable insights to accelerate the transformation of the built environment.

Theme

This year’s summit is organised around the Principles for Responsible Timber Construction. The Principles provide global framework to ensure that increased demand for wood is managed responsibly. Keynotes and sessions will bring experts together around one or more of the Principles.

The Venue

This year’s event will take place at Paradise SE11. Paradise is a six-storey timber office building in Lambeth, London, developed by our frontrunner Bywater Properties.

“Paradise SE11 is the latest in a growing number of timber workspaces across the city proving that net zero carbon buildings can be as beautiful as they are sustainable.”
