By joining Built by Nature’s Frontrunner Network, your organization commits to:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to the mission of Built by Nature to accelerate adoption of timber and/or biobased materials in the built environment.
  • Adopt a collaborative culture and actively engage with other frontrunners in the Built by Nature network, to collectively drive the uptake of timber and/or biobased materials.
  • Nominate a lead contact to represent the organisation as a Frontrunner in the timber and/or biobased materials space.
  • Identify and highlight challenges limiting the adoption of timber and/or biobased materials
  • Share insight and experience with timber and/or biobased materials to help inform solutions for the wider public good, for the purpose of advancing knowledge and research to the benefit of the public
  • Share knowledge resources on timber and/or biobased construction, such as relevant building project case studies, for Built by Nature to amplify via its platforms
  • Contribute industry-leading expertise towards co-ordinated communications activities and joint event panels, where applicable, to help increase wider public knowledge of timber and/or biobased materials as a climate and nature solution
  • Take part in an Annual Impact Survey, to measure progress towards our mission
  • These commitments align with Built by Nature’s mission to lead a global transformation of the built environment by mainstreaming the use of biobased construction materials
