Built by Nature funds new Handbook on CLT detailing in mass timber construction developed by Urban Climate Architects and MAATworks.
Our latest grant output resulted in a handbook for professionals to confidently scale mass timber design and construction through the study of real-life timber construction projects, in particular the analysis of their technical details, in the Netherlands.
This handbook is part of a wider effort to make mass timber design more standardised so architects, engineers, contractors and designers can design and build with confidence.
In this handbook you’ll find:
– Over 20 real-life case-studies of multi-storey timber buildings;
– 30 fully developed LoD500 reference details that can be applied directly in both design and construction practice
Currently in Dutch, the English version will also be made available soon.
