Join Us in Amsterdam for the #BbN23 Annual Summit

Built by Nature is very pleased to announce the upcoming #BbN23 Annual Summit, an event that promises inspiration, celebration, and a glimpse into the stories and examples of how timber and biobased materials are challenging the status quo in construction and offering practical solutions towards decarbonisation of out built environment.
We invite you to join us for an informal networking reception on October 26th from 18:00 to 21:00 in Amsterdam as we share the remarkable stories and accomplishments of the Built by Nature network, which is committed to realizing a built environment in unison with nature. Since its inception in 2021, Built by Nature has made great strides in accelerating the transformation of the built environment where timber and biobased materials can be considered mainstream.
To kick off the reception, our CEO, Paul King, will welcome our guests and lead us into an evening of visualising the momentum and efforts of Built by Nature frontrunners in transforming our built environment. Our Board Chair, Don Brenninkmeijer will provide closing remarks on Built by Nature’s progress in delivering against its original mandate and our challenges – and huge opportunities – for the future.
We are thrilled to introduce a remarkable lineup of guest speakers who will undoubtedly inspire and engage the audience:
Menno Schilthuizen – Renowned urban ecologist, professor, and senior researcher at the Naturalis Biodiversity Center in Leiden. Menno will delve into the fascinating adaptability of animal and plant life in urban environments, shedding light on the unique relationship between nature and our cities.
The “Chat Show” Segment is a moderated discussion featuring prominent voices in the architecture and building sector, including Oskar Norelius, Architect Partner of White Arkitekter Stockholm Wood City; Cécilia Gross, Architect Partner of VenhoevenCS architecture+urbanism, sharing insights on the Aquatics Centre Paris; Viviane Regout, CEO of Lister Buildings and Ingrid Hulshoff from Achmea Real Estate. Ingrid Hulshoff has served as their portfolio manager for separate accounts, with focus on impact investing and implementing ESG policy, often through biobased construction
More detailed information about the event will be provided… but we encourage you to register soon, as space is limited for this opportunity to connect with industry leaders, innovators, and change-makers in the field of regenerative building.
