Our Mission at COP30
At COP30 in Belém, Brazil the world gathers once more to stay focused on turning the promises of the Paris Agreement into real action.
This year Built by Nature is here to show what’s possible when policy follows the lead of the building industry. We can cut global emissions drastically and deliver value for nature and people by switching to bio-based materials and building responsibly with timber.
We are bringing our global campaign for the Principles for Responsible Timber Construction to COP30 — backed by more than 280 endorsers across the value chain. These Principles provide a simple, actionable framework to accelerate timber construction that meets climate targets while protecting forests, biodiversity and communities.
Our goal is clear:
- Showcase real progress and solutions
- Seek national endorsements to drive policy implementation
- Unite partners around a shared vision for a regenerative built environment
From Brazil to the world, responsible timber construction is gaining momentum. Join us in shaping a future where forests and cities thrive together.
